Dunorlan Park Boats is a family run business which was established in 1954 by Ron and Norman Matchett.
It is now run by Norman's son Peter.
Opening Times
Welcome to Spring.
We will open on Good Friday 29th March and every day during the school Easter Holidays (weather permitting!)
Due to our beautiful yet changeable weather here in the UK we are not open all year round. We are usually open from the beginning of April until the end of September.
During this time boat rides will be available from 10am - 5pm at weekends and during school holidays, weather permitting!
Last boat around 4.30pm.
There is no need to pre book and we take card and cash payments at the kiosk.
The basic rule to follow is:
If it's not too wet or windy and it's spring through to Autumn we'll be here weekends and also weekdays during the school holidays.

Good Safe Outdoor Fun
Dunorlan Park is a great place to relax and enjoy being outside just a five minute walk from the town centre. Our selection of boats are all fully licenced. We take safety very seriously, our staff maintain a constant eye on the lake ensuring that everyone using the boats can enjoy their time on the water.

Boat Rental
We have a good selection of boats including rowing boats, pedal boats (2 and 4 seaters), kayaks and canoes.
We welcome all ages and experiences and our team can help you get along and have some fun on the water, be it trying to spot pirates on the island with the kids or a romantic row around the lake.
Pick 'n' Mix Parties
Why not try one one of our Pick 'n' Mix parties for your organisation's next outing!
For an hour or more you and your group can have a choice of pedal boats, rowing boats and canoes. Throughout your time on the water the group will be able to swap and change so that they can have a go on everything.
